DESCRIPTION

New generation high-quality paint for exterior and interior use with low VOC content and enhanced anti-rust properties. Ideal for any metal surface, where an excellent finish, increased hardness and mechanical strength are desired. Offers high gloss and shade retention even in adverse weather conditions. It dries quickly and evenly throughout the film thickness and exhibits excellent adhesion and water resistance. It has great performance and coverage and is easy to work with. By adding high solids Hardener GUMILAK metal, even faster drying, greater hardness and higher resistance to adverse weather conditions are achieved.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Thoroughly clean the surfaces of grease, dust, oil, old paint, loose pieces, rust, etc. Sand paper well. On new metal surfaces, apply a layer of anti-rust OCIDOL.

APPLICATION: Mix well. Apply one or two layers of GUMILAK metal with reinforced anti-rust protection.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS: Temperature 8 – 30oC and relative humidity lower than 80%. Adverse conditions during application can alter the final properties of the product.

• GLOSS: Glossy with a gloss of 86 – 88 units at 60º. Satin with a gloss of 35 – 45 units at 60º. Matt with gloss <4 units at 60º.
• SPECIFIC WEIGHT: 1.19 – 1.23 kg/lt (Glossy - White) - 1.22 – 1.26 kg/lt (Satin – White) - 1.32 – 1.40 kg/lt (Matte – green, black).
• YIELD: 14–16 m2/lt per layer on a properly prepared surface.
• THINNING: For brush or roller application up to 5% by volume with SMALTOLUX WHITE SPIRIT thinner. For application with a conventional or airless gun up to 8% by volume with Solvent No. 1 of VECHRO.
• DRYING: Touch dry in 2 – 3 hours.
• RE-PAINTING: At least 18 hours after application. It is recommended to repaint after the first layer has completely hardened. The above times are extended under cold and wet weather conditions.
• VOC CLASS: "Special two-component coatings. Anti-corrosion finish'. Type D. Limit VOC value = 500 gr/lt. Maximum VOC content of ready-to-use product = (white) 450 gr/lt, (shades) 499 gr/lt. The paint also contains non-VOC solvents. VOC or VOC: volatile organic compounds with a boiling point < 250ºC.

USE OF GUMILAK METAL HARDENER: For brush or roller application, add up to 10% by volume of GUMILAK metal Hardener. For application with a conventional or airless gun, add up to 4-8% by volume of VECHRO Solvent No. 1 on top of the original color. The mixture should be applied within 8-12 hours.
