VIVE ACRYLIC is acrylic paint for exterior use, suitable for painting new and old surfaces such as plaster, concrete, bricks and wood with very good weather resistance. It is the economical and reliable solution for professionals on surfaces that need frequent repainting and freshening such as schools, hotels, large public projects as well as surfaces that are constantly stained by slogans, graffiti, etc., offering a guaranteed result at an excellent price. It is easy to work with, dries quickly and has great coverage and strong adhesion.

PRODUCT DETAILS

  • TYPE: 100% Acrylic paint
  • SPECIFIC GRAVITY : 1.47 ± 0.02 gr/cm3 White (ISO 2811) 1.42-1.47 for shades
  • VISCOSITY : 11-14 ps (ROTOTHINNER DIN 51550, 25  C)
  • APPLICATION METHOD : Roller, brush or airless gun.
  • DILUTION : 5-10% pure water
  • YIELD : Approximately 11 m2 per liter per layer on properly prepared surfaces.
  • DRYING : To the touch in 1 hour and repaintable after 3 hours. These times vary according to weather conditions (humidity, temperature).
  • SHADES : Available in white and in a large number of shades through the Vivechrom COLOR COMPOSITIONS system.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from defective or poorly cohesive materials, dust, oils and salts.
  • Processing such as dry sanding, using a flame to cut or weld painted surfaces will create dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet scrubbing should be used where possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by providing local ventilation, suitable respiratory protection equipment should be used.
  • For new surfaces or painted surfaces showing chalking, prime with solvent VIVEDUR PRIMER or VIVE PRIMER 100% ACRYLIC PLASTIC PRIMER.
  • For problem-free surfaces apply VIVE ACRYLIC directly.

APPLICATION

  • Dilute with 5-10% pure water and stir well before use.
  • Apply 2 coats of VIVE ACRYLIC for a perfect result.
  • Application and drying at a temperature of 10°C to 35°C.
