WALL, FLOOR, BASEMENT & ROOF SEALING MORTAR
PROPERTIES
Spreadable, cementitious mortar that exhibits excellent adhesion and completely waterproofs the surfaces, thanks to the polymer and water-repellent components it contains. D-1 is suitable for positive (external application, preventive) and negative (internal application, for repair) hydrostatic pressures. It withstands frost and is water vapor permeable (breathable). Classified as concrete surface protector (c) according to EN 1504-2 (principle 2/MC/moisture control).
APPLICATIONS
It is applied to the surfaces of concrete elements, walls, floors, brick surfaces, cement blocks, cement mortars, plaster, aerated concrete, etc. It is ideal for the external waterproofing of basements and walls before their backfilling. The sealed surface with D-1 should be protected with a drainage membrane (egg box). D1 is also ideal for the subsequent waterproofing of vertical or horizontal internal surfaces after the plaster has been removed over the entire height where moisture is present. It is suitable for sealing floors in basements, ground floors, protecting them from rising moisture, in water tanks, swimming pools, swimming pools, bathrooms, showers, planters, wells, tunnels, brickwork or concrete blocks after applying the first layer of plaster. Also,
way of use
We remove driftwood, polystyrene and sharp protrusions. Cut the hairpins to a depth of 2-3cm, coat them with DUROSTICK RUST FREE POWDER and seal the holes with D-55, DUROFIX, D-11 SUPER FAST or DUROSTICK DS-247. Then, we clean the surfaces from fragile points and make sure to remove formwork oils and salts with biodegradable cleaner BIOCLEAN INDUSTRIAL. Rinse with plenty of water.
APPLICATION
D-1 is applied to thoroughly moistened surfaces, in 2-4 equal layers (crosswise) of 1mm thickness each, with a trowel or round lime brush, as well as with a plastic paint roller or metal spatula. Empty the contents of the bag into a clean container with water, in a ratio of 25kg mortar to 6.0-6.5lt water (1.2-1.3lt to 5kg). It is recommended that mixing be done with a low-speed drill with the appropriate mortar stirring attachment, until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is formed, so thick that it stands on the brush or roller without dripping. The mixture remains workable for 60 minutes and each coat is applied while the previous one is still fresh (approximately after 2 hours). If the layer remains above and dries, we moisten the surface again. Protect the hardware for the next 24-48 hours,
consumption
1.0-1.3kg/m²/mm layer thickness.
