Repair cement mortar of high mechanical strength, for thin coatings, from 2-20mm/layer.
PROPERTIES
Repair cement mortar of high mechanical strength, for thin coatings, from 2-20mm/layer. Contains a corrosion inhibitor that protects against oxidation of concrete reinforcing bars. It is classified as a concrete repair in the PCC R3 category according to EN 1504-3.
ADVANTAGES
• Adheres strongly to the substrate.
• It is easy to work with
• Does not 'hang' up to 2cm thick, even on vertical surfaces.
• Does not show 'holes'
• Resistant to moisture and frost
• High mechanical strength.
APPLICATIONS
DUROSTICK D-55 is ideal for repairing cracks in floors and walls, as well as for covering structural defects created after the concrete has been poured. It restores damage to the concrete on balcony facades, corners of columns and beams that have resulted from the oxidation of their reinforcement, from spalling or impact. It is also recommended for repair work in tunnels, channels, to create hatches before the application of sealing materials, to cover disintegrated points around the perimeter of cases or marble plinths.
METHOD OF USE
Surface preparation The substrate must be free of loose spots, dust, oils and thoroughly moistened or primed with DUROSTICK's micromolecular stabilizer AQUAFIX before application.
APPLICATION
Empty the contents of the 25kg bag into a clean container with 5.5lt of water (1.1lt per 5kg) and mix with a low speed drill or in a concrete mixer. The mixture remains workable for 2 hours and is applied either troweled or sprayed, up to a thickness of 20mm/layer. In the event that a second coating follows, the surface of the first coating should be roughened in order to achieve proper adhesion.
consumption
Approximately 15kg/m²/cm layer thickness.
