APPLICATIONS

The easy and quick application of DUROSTICK D-22 on marble and granite linings, on building facades, prevents the absorption of atmospheric pollutants for at least 4 years, resulting in easier cleaning. It is necessary on kitchen counters, statues, pebbles of all sizes and colors, monuments, floors, walls (fig. 2). D-22 prevents the absorption of stains on polished or glazed marble, on terraces or indoors, after watering plants in pots.

1. Surface preparation

Polished surfaces

In order to offer additional oil repellency, we clean with the biodegradable cleaner DUROSTICK BIOCLEAN (for tile-granite-marble joints). Before application, a preventive test is recommended to establish that the surface can absorb the material.

Glossy surfaces

In the case of aged and heavily stained marbles, the use of DUROSTICK D-21 marble cleaner is recommended.

2. Application

D-22 is applied as it is, with a roller or brush, on dry, dust-free surfaces. If the surface is porous, 2 coats are required with a difference of 2-3 hours between them. Any residues are removed with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. If you want the surfaces to shine, it is recommended to apply the self-polishing marble parquet DUROSTICK D-25.
