DESCRIPTION

Eco-friendly micronized transparent acrylic water primer with low odor for indoor and outdoor use with strong adhesion and resistance to alkaline surfaces. It penetrates exceptionally well and strengthens walls and porous surfaces such as stucco, plaster, putty, concrete, gypsum board, cement board, water colors, etc. It is based on silanes / siloxane, ensuring high breathability and waterproofing of the surface and at the same time helps to limit the "migration" of masonry salts . Offers excellent cooperation with the final plastic and / or acrylic paint. It is easy to work with and spreads evenly. Minimized content of hazardous substances. Reduced content of volatile organic compounds (VOC).

SURFACE PREPARATION

Thoroughly clean the surfaces of grease, oil, loose old paint, moisture, sand well and clean the dust.

APPLICATION

Shake well before use. We apply 1 layer of Smaltoplast Universal Primer. New plaster or concrete surfaces must be primed after they have dried thoroughly (3-4 weeks). Can be repainted with SMALTOPLAST ACRYLIC 100%, SMALTOPLAST extra and any VECHRO acrylic or plastic paint. Minimizing paint waste: for a surface of 10m² and one layer, you will need 0.6L of paint.

CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION

Temperature 8–30ºC and relative humidity lower than 80%. New plaster-cement surfaces must dry for 3-4 weeks before being primed. Adverse conditions during or shortly after application may alter the final properties of the paint.

• SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.01–1.03 kg/lt.
• YIELD : 15–20 m² /lt per layer, depending on the dilution and roughness of the surface.
• DILUTION : 50–100% by volume with water.
• DRYING : Touch dry in 1 – 2 hours.
• RE-PAINT: 4 hours. These times are extended under cold and wet weather conditions.
• VOC CLASS : "Binding primers". Type Y. Limit VOC value = 30gr/lt. Maximum content of ready-to-use product = 14 gr/lt. VOC or VOC: volatile organic compounds with a boiling point <250ºC.
• SHADES: Colorless - Transparent. It can be colored exclusively with the VECHRO COLOR MOODS system, to make it look like we are priming.

SAVE

Store in a cool environment, protect the material from frost and exposure to the sun. Close the container tightly after application. Recover leftover paint for reuse. Reuse of paints can really minimize the environmental impact of products' life cycle.
