DESCRIPTION

Ecological acrylic water-soluble multi-purpose primer, ideal for indoor and outdoor use. It exhibits strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates, such as wooden surfaces by isolating rose tannin, MDF, novopan, aluminium, galvanized, hard PVC, painted oil paint, ceramic tiles, glass. Can be repainted with ripolin, plastic or acrylic paint. It is an ideal substrate for SMALTOLUX HYDRO water-soluble ripolins, increasing performance and enhancing their properties. It gives a surface with great strength and durability compared to ordinary waxes and metal primers. It is pleasant to apply due to its low odor. It is very easy to work with and spreads wonderfully without smudging and peeling off. Minimized content of hazardous substances. Reduced content of volatile organic compounds (VOC). Suitable for children's toys according to EN 71-3:1995 standard.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be cleaned of dust, grease, oil, loose old paint, rust, sanded and thoroughly cleaned of dust. Glass, polyester and PVC surfaces are cleaned with water and detergents and primed. On rusty metal surfaces, apply a layer of 1 layer of OXIDOL anti-rust.

• APPEARANCE: Semi-matte to satin depending on the absorbency of the surface.

• PERFORMANCE: 10-12 m²/lt depending on the absorbency of the surface.
• THINNING: By Brush-Roller 8-15% with water & by Gun up to 20%.
• DRYING: Touch dry in 1 – 2 hours.
• REPAINTING A: Rub with soft sandpaper or tissue paper after 4-5 hours.
• REPAINTING B: in 6-8 hours.
• RE- PAINTING In Galvanized - PVC - Polyester, recommended after 24 hours.

• ADHESION: No peeling in adhesion test, rank 1 (ISO 2409).
• COLOR: White.
• CLEANING TOOLS: During the work keep the tools "wet" in the container or vessel with the paint. Drain the paint thoroughly from the tools back into the box and clean them with VECHRO #1 solvent, warm water and soapy water. If the paint dries, it can only be removed with strong detergents.
• APPLICATION CONDITIONS: Temperature 8 – 30oC and relative humidity lower than 80%. Adverse conditions during application can alter the final properties of the product.
• STORAGE: Store in a cool environment, protect the material from frost and exposure to the sun. Close the container tightly after application.
